Marco Island is a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico off Southwest Florida, linked to the mainland by bridges south of the city of Naples. It’s home to resort hotels, beaches, marinas and golf courses, as well as a network of inland waterways. A long, sandy beach covers most of the west coast, with resort hotels in the south. Tigertail Beach Park has a tidal lagoon, popular for kayaking and paddleboarding.

All of our homes are walking distance to either Tigertail Beach or one of the public entrances to South Beach.  There are 3 public beach entrances to South Beach.

South Side - 930 Swallow Ave, Marco Island, FL 34145.  There is public parking here for $8/day and showers and restrooms as well.
Collier/Maple – This is near the new JW Marriott. There are no public restrooms at this beach access but you can order a beverage at the hotel and use the restroom.   You can walk to this beach access from 926 S Flamingo Circle.
Collier/Winterberry – This is near the Hilton and Marco Walk (7-11 is on the corner).   There are no public restrooms at this beach access but you can order a beverage at the Stilts (which is open to the public) and use the restroom.   You can walk to this beach access from 700 Seagrape and 1033 Fieldstone
If you are staying by Tigertail Beach and would like to visit South Beach, there is a paid parking lot at the Turtle Lot on Collier (721 S Collier Blvd) for $9/day.  It is an automated parking lot, so you are encouraged to have exact change as you may not get change from the machine.  Also don’t park if the lot is full or you won’t be refunded.   You can also go to the South Side Beach Access which is located at 930 Swallow Ave, Marco Island, FL 34145.

Tigertail Beach Park White-sand beach, barrier island in the making, bird watching, shelling, tidal pool exploration and breath-taking sunsets await visitors. This park also has a playground and full facilities making this a great family beach park.
